As an intern at J. Walter Thompson New York, I worked with a team of interns to organize an event for pro bono client National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI-NYC Metro). We were tasked with promulgating NAMI’s “I Will Listen” initiative, a campaign aimed at de-stigmatizing mental illnesses across the country, particularly on college campuses. Drawing on research into past successful campaigns executed by New York City non-profits, we designed and produced stick-on headphone tags printed with “I Will Listen” and distributed them to New Yorkers in Washington Square Park. In order to increase the scale of the event’s reach, I filmed and edited a video documenting the event in Washington Square Park and presented the final product to JWT and NAMI-NYC Metro. Here's the video.
